2011 Chrysler 300 Pricing Announced, V6 Starts from $27,995, Hemi V8 from $38,995


The redesigned 2011 Chrysler 300 will get its first public outing at the Detroit Motor Show next week, but the U.S. automaker has already released pricing information on the full-size sedan model that will be offered in the States in four trim flavors and two engine options. In particular, buyers can choose between the V6-powered 300 and 300 Limited models, and the Hemi V8-motivated 300C and 300C AWD.

Priced at $27,995 (all prices include a $825 destination charge), the entry-level 2011 Chrysler 300 comes with the firm's all-new 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with 292HP, 260 ft.-lb. (353 Nm) of torque, E-85 flex-fuel capability and a five-speed automatic transmission with Auto Stick.

Among other standard features, the base model gets a full set of airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), Hill-start Assist (HSA), 17-inch alloys with P215/65R17 tires, Uconnect Touch 8.4, USB port with iPod Control, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, leather steering-wheel with audio controls, six-speaker audio, keyless start, dual-zone automatic climate control, 12-way power driver’s seats, cruise control, auto-dimming rear-view mirror and 60-40 split-fold rear seat.

Starting at $31,995, the 300 Limited keeps the base model's V6 powerplant adding several standard features such as leather trimmed seats, heated front seats, handsfree Bluetooth phone capability, a premium audio system, LED-illuminated rear cup holders [Sic...], 18-inch chrome-clad alloys with P225/60R18 tires, chromed exterior mirrors and door handles, power folding and heated mirrors and front fog lamps.

Chrysler also offers a special 'Luxury Group' package for the 300 Limited, which adds these extras:

Authentic Black or Dark Olive Ash Burl interior trim, heated leather-wrapped steering wheel with Black or Dark Olive Ash Burl trim, 180-amp alternator, driver’s side auto-dimming mirrors with memory and auto-tilt in Reverse, Satin Chrome lower door sills with “Chrysler” logo, LED illuminated front-footwells, interior door handles and front and rear map pockets, heated/cooled cup holders, 12–way driver and front-passenger seats with lumbar, trimmed in Nappa leather with perforated inserts, heated and ventilated front seats with driver memory, heated rear seats, power-adjustable pedals with memory; power backlight sunshade, trunk mat, power tilt and telescoping steering column.

The 2011 Chrysler 300 Limited with Luxury Group package is priced at $35,245.

Those looking for more power, can opt for the 300C with a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 that delivers 363 horsepower and 0-60 mph in less than six seconds, and either RWD or AWD. Both variants feature the same standard equipment as the 300 Limited with the Luxury Group package, with the AWD model getting larger 19-inch wheels with wider P235/55R19 all-season performance tires, The MSRP including destination charge of the 300C with rear-wheel drive is $38,995, and for the all-wheel-drive model, $41,145.
